Meanwhile, I’m cubing tofu

 

To simmer forever, taking the heat of the powdered gochu pepper

Under layers of carrot, zucchini

Green pepper and snow pea

 

The rice will be done first – long-grain brown

Bed

In which the veg will lie

 

I know you know, baby

We make this all the time

Sometimes I just like to say it out is all

  1. You’ve already got my taste buds dancing with the darkening garlic, the clarifying onion and the tofu, Uttley, and In the second stanza, I can picture the colourful mix of vegetables. I love that final stanza – so intimate, conveying a feeling of togetherness.
